Workshop “Sea Turtle. “Watercolor and Watercolor Pencils/Crayons”

This is a workshop built around one gentle, ancient subject: the sea turtle.
We'll start by simplifying the subject - working through tricky shell angles and poses, and learning to paint freely from several references instead of chasing one "correct" version.
From there we move into a composition sketch, deciding our color palette and materials together, before painting one full sea turtle piece (12×16" or larger) where watercolor meets mixed media with real intention - opacity against transparency, line against shape, and practical tips for pencils, gouache, acrylic, markers, and pens along the way.
It's less about matching a reference and more about learning to simplify, decide, and make the painting your own.
