Abstract Landscape Painting in Mixed Media – A Two-Part Online Class Recording
This class is a deep and practical exploration of how to create abstract paintings inspired by nature and landscape. It includes 3 hours of structured lessons and a 3-hour recorded painting session, where I walk you through my personal creative approach—from concept to finished work.
✦ What’s Included:
6 hours of video lessons
• Part 1 (3 hours – Pre-recorded Lessons)
Learn the thinking process behind abstract painting. I explain how I choose and use references, build a color palette, and make decisions about composition, materials, and textures. You’ll get practical insight into working with contrasts and building your own creative language.
I demonstrate this process with three different nature-based references, and you’ll also receive homework to help prepare your own reference and concept for painting.
• Part 2 (3 hours – Practice Session Recording)
Watch a full painting session where I create 5 abstract artworks based on one of the nature scenes shown in Part 1. You’ll see every step, with detailed explanations of how I make choices—materials, colors, shapes, layers—so you can follow the full path from inspiration to artwork.
You can paint along using my reference or apply the same process to your own.
