In this session, you’ll learn how to simplify their structure, understand their form, and paint them with both freedom and control.

We create two artworks:

• a light, loose composition on white
• a deep, atmospheric painting with a dark wet-on-wet background

In this live workshop, we will explore how to paint owls in watercolor in a way that feels alive, expressive, and free — while still holding structure and clarity.

This is not just about painting a bird.

During the workshop, we will create two artworks:

🦉 Expressive Owl Study — to warm up, simplify forms, and find a loose, confident flow
🦉 Atmospheric Owl — using wet-on-wet techniques to build depth, light, and mood

Before painting, we will also spend time on drawing preparation, so you understand the structure without getting stuck in details.
